Wish me luck!
This was the model making done by my friend for her model making subject, it’s a China fort as you can see.
I had been helping her a little bit in coloring and modifying some detail parts. It was a very interesting experience since after I’d mocked up a directory before, this is far challenging as in calculating, estimating and planning. And this is definitely looks alike with the picture we usually seen on web, just in smaller scale. ;)

The detail parts:

Good job ;) !

Exhibition profile.
The next step I’ll be doing in Maya to create a 3d exhibition booth ;)

My product is Clinique , skin care product.
This is my concept board. Basically my exhibition is based on the professional image of Clinique itself, they mostly focused on the formula of the product created which is allergy tested and 100% fragrance off, so I would like to use transparent element in my exhibition booth to produce a clean and light environment.

‘Anything that can be wrong, will go wrong’. Murphy’s law (distinct from, and often confused with Finagle’s law or Sod’s law) is a popular adage in Western culture, which broadly states that things will go wrong in any given situation in which error is possible. “If there’s more than one way to do a job, and one of those ways will result in disaster, then somebody will do it that way.” Overall, Murphy’s law stated that the unwanted incidents will always happen on the wrong timing. In design, these few incidents will always happen when the designer is really in rush, and those incidents may cause some delay on the work. As usual and normal cases that always happen: a. Your fonts will default, b. If you have two versions of a photo, you will send the wrong one to the printer, c. If the text consists of two words, one will be misspelled. d. If three designs are shown to a client, your least favorite will be chosen. e. If two designs are shown, a third will be requested. If provided, then one of the first two will be chosen. So on and so forth. When I had finished reading all the examples, I give myself a big face palm because all these were really happened on me before! I bet all the designer might experienced this as well! So basically, Murphy’s Law is talking about the truth that never ever can be escaped by a designer in a certain circumstance, especially when the designer is dying for the last rush. We couldn’t escape from this even we had really give hundred percents of attention to avoid the mistake, yet it will happen at last. Still. ‘Anything that can be wrong, will go wrong’.
